La maison est juste 100 mètres de la plage dans un voisinage résidentiel, c'est deux histoires et ma mère, mon frère et moi vivent là. La maison est spacieuse, a un manguier dans la cour et bientôt un arbre dans le jardin. Nous avons deux chiens et deux chats. Le voisinage est à 10 minutes de la ville murée et à 5 minutes de l'aéroport par transport en commun. Il y a deux lignes d'autobus de 5h du matin à 21h et au service abondant de taxi. Le voisinage est tout à fait sûr et les voisins très amicaux et tranquilles. La plage est étendue et dans elle ils pratiquent des sports aquatiques tels que le cerf-volant surfant et voyagent en jet le ciel, il est également parfait pour nager pendant les matins. Ma mère (Flor) dépense ses images de broderie et de peinture de temps libre. Mon frère (JosÃ(c)) a les inclinations musicales et moi consacrent mon heure libre de lire, parler, observer des films, marchent, bain et quand j'ai l'occasion de voyager.

Superb hosts. Older reviews and posted pics are accurate. It’s clean, the beds are good, and the AC in the rooms works well. Lovely patio. It’s quiet at night. Laundry is easy to do. The neighborhood felt safe and the beach across the street is a nice one that is not crowded like many others. It has restaurants. A small market and pharmacy are close by. Buses are frequent and it’s a short, easy ride to the center.

I highly recommend this homestay. Luis and his family were perfect hosts and the home was comfortable and clean. Luis and his family patiently helped me practice my Spanish. They cooked wonderful and healthy breakfasts every day and served me mango juice from the mango tree in the backyard. They helped me with things I needed around the city as well. It was simply everything I could have wanted out of a homestay. One potential area for improvement could be that there is no hot water (mostly not needed in Cartagena´s climate, but occasionally was sorely missed).

Great hosts. Luis has shown us the loveliest parts of Cartagena and explained a lot of things. The house was very clean. The family invited us to eat with them and helped to organise a trip to islas del Rosario. Would definitely stay with them if again in Cartagena!

It was a wonderful stay with a wonderful family. I can only recommend this warm-hearted family to everyone. Luis accompanied me to the centre and to a foundation. He always gives good advices. To be honest, when I first saw a 5 star rating for this family I was very skeptical. I thought to myself 'how could there be so many reviews with 5 stars, they are human (lol)?' I now know why this family has 5 stars and if I could give them 100, I would. They are absolutely amazing! It was a PERFECT stay and I could not have asked for a more helpful gracious family. It's actually unbelievable. I appreciate you all so much Luis for everything! When and if I come back to Cartagena I hope you have a room available for me :)

What an excellent visit I had with Luis Carlos and his family! I felt very comfortable with them throughout and also very comfortable in the house (which has great architectural style and amazing artwork by Sra. Flor!). The house is close to the beach and also very close to the airport and public transportation access. With Luis and crew, I always felt a part of the family because they included me in all the activities or whatever I wanted to do and also helped me explore the city, the beach and the market (incredible place). They were always very generous with their time and their patience when I tried to speak Spanish. I definitely recommend this homestay experience to the people of my country and elsewhere who want an authentic Colombian experience.
