Nestled in Colonno, this fuss-free apartment is ideal for couples and solo travellers alike. Sure, the set-up is a little quirky, given the kitchenette is fitted in around the rest of the living area, but it’s a small price to pay for the location. There’s no oven here, but with Italian eateries lining the nearby streets, dining out will surely be on the menu. Of course, the stand out for us is the balcony. Just the spot for an evening aperitif as you unwind for the day, the views across Lake Como are something you’ll never tire of.
*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*There's no air conditioning here. It could get a little hot during the summer.
