The Hostel-Restaurant "Plaza del Cristo" is located in the street Adolfo Ruiz Quintana # 108, besides the seat of the local government (Municipal Assembly of the Popular Power) and across from the only city's playground, which used to be the "Christ's Square" during the times of the foundation of the city at the beginning of the 16th century. It was called like that because one of the first Catholic churches in Cuba, The Church of Christ, was located right in front of the square during the colonial times. Only 3 and a half blocks away from the central square, very conveniently placed because it is close to the most interesting areas of the city without being at the very center of it. The house was built in the 1910's, and has been refurbished with modern traits respecting its ancient design. There are 6 spacious rooms: 4 DBl, 1 TPl & 1 QDPl. All of them have air conditioning, private bathrooms and hot water.  There is also a bar and a restaurant in the house, all of which you can check out in our pictures. In our menus you can find a wide variety of local dishes and drinks. Discover our city San Juan de los Remedios. Our hostel is only 3 and half blocks away from the central square. Enjoy drinks in our bar with a good selection of national and international spirits, liquors and cocktails. A great variety of delicious meals can be found every day in our beautiful restaurant.
