Highmount Cottage is a traditional fishermans cottage which has been completely refurbished, The cottage contains a large kitchen with a rayburn electric cooker and washer drier also a microwave, the sitting room is small and cosy with a stove and T.V The Main bedroom has a king sized bed and open fire, the second bedroom has a single bed and pullout and there is a boxroom with full sized bunkbeds. The cottage is also has electric heating throughout, electricity is by token meter, tokens for which can be bought at the local post office
It is situated in the small fishing village of Hamnavoe on the Island of Burra which is connected to the mainland by bridge, nearby is beauitful beaches, and coastal areas ideal for walking and birdwatching, In the village there is a local shop and post office. There is a regular bus service to the main town of Lerwick
